In Latvia music plays a significant role in the culture, it identifies the Latvian community as a whole. The new music school in the city of Ventspils gives an opportunity for kids and young people to learn and play music as a hobby or to make a career of a musician.

The concert hall was opened in summer of 2019 and it was accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra and Latvian State Choir (with Raimund Pauls & Iveta Apkalna).

This project had some challenges in terms of atypical solutions for connections between elements and boundaries of aesthetic forms of elements. Many decisions were overlooked to follow the complex nature of the future building. In addition, many planes of this building lead us to use only architectural models as a reference, as drawings for this kind of structure are underpowered and eventually become obsolete.
