The design featured a single-storey rectangular building with dimensions measuring 66.0 by 24.0 meters, reaching a roof ridge elevation of +11.540 meters. To support the construction process, the building was equipped with a robust braced frame and crane beams designed to accommodate two overhead cranes with a 3.2-ton bearing capacity and an additional overhead crane with a 2.0-ton bearing capacity.
In addition to the main facility, temporary buildings and structures needed to be designed for the construction and installation base to facilitate Mechanical and Heat Installation Works Complex.
Regrettably, despite the extensive preparations and careful planning, the project never progressed to construction due to unforeseen geopolitical events, specifically the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in 2022. Consequently, the cooperation with Rosatom was terminated, and the project remained unrealized. This ambitious endeavor was intended to contribute significantly to Finland's energy landscape, with the aim of supplying 10% of the country's total power requirements.
